There will be free hot dogs and Price’s Ice Cream for everyone. A 9-11 Hero Awards ceremony will be held at noon and there will be hero speakers throughout the day.

The health fair will include free health screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, blood typing, blood pressure and more. The city/county health department will provide childhood immunizations for a minimal cost (parents should bring shot records).  Additionally, there will be free musical entertainment and many events for children.
Fort Bliss will have military police units there, along with a K-9 unit and the Fort Bliss Fire Department. The 6th ADA Brigade will provide an Avenger weapon system as a static display and the 62nd Army Band will provide patriotic music before the opening ceremony.
