Diablos Dance Camp
Child and Youth Services will host a two-day dance camp with the Diablos Diamond Dancers from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 7 through 8. The camp is open to children 5 years and up and will be held at the Logan SAS, Bldg. 3508. Camp graduates will perform at the Diablos game Aug. 9. Cost is $25.

Education fair
The annual Education Information Fair will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 29 at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center on Biggs Army Airfield. The event is free and open to all military families with Pre-K through high school students. Families will be able to learn about various school choices, collect information on school and Fort Bliss CYS programs, meet school principals and counselors, as well as network with school superintendents and Fort Bliss leadership. CYS free lunch services
CYS will sponsor the summer food service through Aug. 22. Meals will be provided free of charge to all children ages 1 to 18. Meals will be served Monday through Friday at all CYS sites: Bldgs. 1730, 131 and 195 on Main Post; and Bldgs. 3500, 3503 and 3505 in Logan Heights. Registration is not required. SKIES Unlimited classes
SKIESUnlimited offers a variety of programs of interest to children and teens. Classes include dance, martial arts, fashion modeling, academic tutoring, SAT/ACT prep, automotive maintenance and more. Participants must register with central registration and payment is due at time of registration in order to ensure placement in the class. CDC Parent Council

Super Saturdays
“Super Awesome Saturdays” at Logan SAS will be from 3 to 10 p.m. During our summer full-day camp months of June, July and August, we will limit our Saturday openings to pay-day weekends: Saturday and July 19, and Aug. 2 and 16. This free Saturday program includes a nutritious dinner and evening snack and is open to school-age, CYS-registered children with an active SAS pass. Community service and long-term projects will be the focus in programming; however, many other choices and more field trips will be offered to engage and explore children’s interests during the new program hours. CYS discounts
Discounts have changed for family members of sponsors who are deployed; on an unaccompanied PCS, a TCS or a TDY; part of rear detachment; wounded warriors; and fallen warriors. A copy of supporting documentation should be given to Central Enrollment and Registration, Bldg 1743.

CDS summer program
Child Development Services will offer a program throughout the summer for those children who will be entering kindergarten or first grade. Summer reading program
Join the Mickelsen Community Library’s Summer Reading Program for children ages 2 to 12. Registration continues through July 19. Reading continues through Aug. 2. Children will come to the library and check out books; before the books are returned to the circulation desk, the children or parents will record the titles on a log kept at the library. Kelly Park summer fun
Fort Bliss CYS and Balfour Beatty Communities will sponsor a summer lunch and activities day at Kelly Park every Wednesday. Activities and water play will begin at 10 a.m.; lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Activities and lunch are free and open to all military children up to age 18. Learn to bowl
At 11 a.m. Monday through Friday through July 26, youth up to age 18 have the opportunity to learn how to bowl and pick up tips and tricks from Don, the Fort Bliss Bowling Center’s USBC Silver Certified coach.
