Quality of life for Soldiers primary reason for unique alliance

A groundbreaking ceremony for the first combined FirstLight Federal Credit Union and United Service Organizations facility in the world was held Monday at East Fort Bliss.    

                                               

FLFCU officials committed 6,300 of the 18,000 square foot facility for the establishment of a second USO shop, which Karl Murphy, president and chief executive officer of FLFCU, said was desperately needed due to the influx of troops and the 118,000 Soldiers who have already received USO services here.
