Coming home: Approximately 750 Soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, walk across the tarmac from their plane Monday afternoon at Biggs Army Airfield, returning to Fort Bliss this week on three separate flights. The returning Soldiers, assigned to 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment; 1st Bn., 37th Armor Regt.; and 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regt., deployed in November to Iraq, where they assisted and advised Iraqi Security Forces.
